Hello My Name Is...

I graduated from GHS in 2003.  I then went to Tennessee Technological University where I studied Engineering for 2 years and then switched my major to Secondary Education with an emphasis in Mathematics.  I started teaching and coaching at GHS in 2008.  I graduated from Western Kentucky in 2012 with my master's degree in Recreation & Sport Administration (Athletic Administration & Coaching Concentration).  I taught math here at GHS from the Fall of 2008 until the Spring of 2021.  Starting in the Fall of 2021, I moved to the CTE department and began teaching Engineering and I have loved it. 

We will learn about many disciplines of engineering,  how to approach and solve problems, how to use CAD software, and will do at least 2 labs in each class.  Students will also have the opportunity to learn about 3D Printing and CNC Machining.  Students in Engineering Design I will have the opportunity to get OSHA 10 certified and students in Engineering Design II will have the opportunity to get CAD Inventor certified.

Order of Classes: Principles of Engineering and Technology, Engineering Design I, and Engineering Design II. (These must be taken in order and must be passed to move on to the next class).

FALL: 1st: Engineering Design 1.  2nd: Principles of Engineering and Technology. 3rd: Engineering Design 2.  4th Block- Football
Spring: 1st: Engineering Design 2. 2nd: Engineering Design 1. 3rd: Principles of Engineering and Technology.  4th Block- Football
